Jeff Foxworthy – You Might Be a Caregiver If…

Jeff Foxworthy pays comedy tribute to caregivers

In this 3 minute video, comedian Jeff Foxworthy teamed up with caregiver and author Peter Rosenberger and AARP to highlight the funny parts about being a caregiver.

Even though this video was created a while ago, it’s well worth watching.

Caregivers need a good laugh

This video is great because it’s full of inside jokes only caregivers will understand.

We’ve all heard about the benefits of laughter for stress reduction and improved well-being.

It’s even more important when you’re a caregiver and tend to get caught up in worries and never-ending to-do lists.

Find your own inside jokes

Like we’ve suggested before, it’s important to find humor in the everyday aspects of caregiving.

Whether your role involves hands-on care, making sure Mom’s pantry is stocked, coordinating visits by family and friends, or managing the bills, chances are there are at least a few funny moments each week.

Allow yourself to laugh and have fun with things. Share funny moments with your caregiving team, they’ll appreciate a good laugh too!
