Amie Clark is a senior care expert with over 25 years of experience supporting older adults and their families. Her career began at Missoula Aging Services, where she served as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman. This experience sparked a lasting commitment to advocating for the rights and dignity of older adults.
After moving to Portland, Oregon, Amie worked in skilled nursing facilities, helping residents and families navigate complex systems involving Medicare, Medicaid, discharge planning, and end-of-life care. Later, as a senior housing referral specialist, she directly supported families searching for the right living options based on care needs, budgets, and personal preferences.
Amie is also the former Co-founder of TheSeniorList.com, an online resource known for helping older adults and caregivers find trusted products and services like medical alert systems, hearing aids, and more.
Beyond her professional work, Amie has been a caregiver to multiple loved ones, including both grandmothers and her father-in-law. These personal experiences have given her a deep understanding of the emotional and logistical challenges families face, especially when trying to balance caregiving with work and raising children.
Today, Amie shares her expertise through writing, public speaking, and online education. Her goal is to give caregivers reliable guidance, practical tools, and the confidence to plan ahead before a crisis hits.
